Homeschooling at Steamlings

Flexible, CAPS-aligned learning in a small, structured environment — tailored to your child's pace, strengths, and learning style.

What is homeschooling?

Learning beyond the classroom

Homeschooling is a flexible approach to education where children learn outside of a traditional school environment — guided by a qualified educator at a dedicated learning centre. At Steamlings, we offer two options:

1Full-Day Homeschooling Programme

Structured monthly programme covering all core CAPS subjects. Monday–Thursday 08:00–13:00 and Friday 08:00–12:00.

2Subject-Specific Tuition

Extra lessons focused on selected subjects, charged per hour or as a bundle package. Available 08:00–13:00 or 14:30–17:30.

📋 CAPS-aligned learning

All homeschool learners complete assessments in line with the CAPS curriculum, ensuring academic standards are met while allowing for a flexible, child-centred experience.

⏰ Hours of operation

Mon–Thu: 08:00–13:00
Friday: 08:00–12:00
Afternoon: 14:30–17:30 (subject to availability)
